Chocolate Brownies

About the Recipe

Even at a yoga retreat sometimes you want to be indulgent while you are on holiday. These rich chocolate brownies are lovely and crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside

Ingredients

2 tbsp grinded flaxseed

2 bananas

4 tsp instant coffee

2 cup chocolate chips (to divide)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup brown cane sugar

1 tsp baking powder

pinch of salt

2 cup flour

1/4 cup pure cacao powder

6 tbsp vegan butter (margarine)

Preparation

As with all our homemade baked deserts we use gluten free flour so that everyone can enjoy them regardless o any intolerances. Preheat oven at 180°. Line a pan with parchment paper. Brew

instant coffee with a little bit of water and grind your flaxseed. Mix the two together and

set aside to expend and form a gel for 10min. Mash two bananas in a bowl, then melt vegan butter

and half the chocolate together. Add sugar, salt, vanilla and then

your flax egg whisk until glossy. Stiff flour and cocoa powder, until your mixture reaches the consistency of a really thick milkshake finally toss in the rest of the chocolate chips and bake for 30min
