We think it would be a great shame for you to come to an island as beautiful as Tenerife and not experience some of the breathtaking places it has to offer!
That's why our Tenerife retreats offer guided island excursions, including exploring the stunning Masca Valley, an afternoon snorkelling at Playa Abama beach, hiking around the volcano Mount Teide with optional sunset and an afternoon at Playa del Duque beach followed by sunset on the beach with live music.
Playa Abama Beach - Free Excursion
As part of your experience with our Tenerife yoga retreat, we invite you to join a complimentary snorkeling excursion at the beautiful Playa Abama beach. Known for its crystal-clear waters and peaceful surroundings, this hidden gem offers the perfect setting to unwind, explore, and connect with nature.
After your morning yoga session, we’ll take a relaxed trip to the coast where you can discover Tenerife’s vibrant underwater world. Expect to see colorful fish, volcanic rock formations, and calm waters ideal for both beginners and experienced snorkelers.
Playa Abama Beach
Explore The Masca Valley
Optional Excursion - €39
I have travelled to many places in the world and the Masca Valley still has to be one of the most amazing views that I have ever seen in my life! On this short afternoon hike we take you down the valley from the Mirador overlooking the gorge where you will see beautiful views down into the village and out to the glimmering, azure sea, we hike down through the tropical undergrowth and visit the small quaint Canarian village at the heart of Masca, here we stop for a picnic lunch and have time to browse the shops and cafe's before ascending back to the Mirador.
Playa del Duque Beach

During your stay at our Tenerife yoga retreat, you’ll also enjoy a complimentary excursion to the elegant Playa del Duque — one of the most beautiful and well-kept beaches in the south of Tenerife. With its golden sand, calm turquoise waters, and relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to unwind after your yoga practice.
To round off your week in the most memorable way, we head to the to Coque Luche Beach Bar, a laid-back beachfront spot known for its relaxed atmosphere, great music, and stunning ocean views.
Playa Del Duque Excursion
Hike around the Volcano
Mount Teide
Optional Excursion - €39
You couldn't come to a volcanic island and not see the volcano up close! We take you high up into the Teide National Park passing through pine covered forests to Canada Blanca which sits in the original crater of the volcano which formed the island. Here the volcano rises before you in all its majesty.
From here we set off on a circular hike which goes around Roques del Garcia. These strange rock formations are the remains of the lava conduit of the original super volcano which formed the island!
After the hike we have the option to stay in the national park and watch the sunset in the Teide National Park high above the clouds with a glass of champagne, the champagne sunset option is an additional 10 euros per person.
Free Afternoon for
Relaxing or Exploring
We want to make sure that you also have some time to relax or do your own thing on the retreat. That's why we have a free afternoon on the 4th day where you can relax and book a treatment, take part in a group sound bath or Tantra workshop or go and explore the island on your own!
Some activities that we can recommend doing on the island if you have the time include visiting the local monkey park, surf lessons, the waterpark, go horse riding, paragliding, windsurfing or whale watching.
