About the Recipe

The perfect healthy snack to to take on the go, we have our home made energy balls available instead of cereal bars as they are far more nutritious, healthy with only natural sugars and made with love

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of oats

  • 1/2 cup of walnuts

  • 1/2 cup of almonds

  • 1/4 cup of flax seeds

  • 1/2 cup of dates

  • 1 banana

  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

  • 4 tablespoons of ground coconut

  • 4 tablespoons of coco powder

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

STEP 1

Grind the oats, almonds, walnuts and dates using the food processor then mix together in a large bowl along with the coconut, flax seed and coconut until the ingredients are well mixed.


STEP 2

Mash 2 bananas and mix them together with the melted coconut oil and the peanut butter. Add the wet mixture in with the dry ingredients and mix together until you get the consistency off firm cookie dough. Add more liquid to the mix if need to get the right consistency.


STEP 3

Put this mixture into the fridge and leave to set for an hour as this will make it easier to make into balls without sticking to your hands. Roll the mixture into balls a bit smaller than a gold ball and now you have a delicious, energy packed and healthy snack. You can make these in batches and freeze them to keep them fresh :)
