Gluten free vegan banana bread recipe

Our delicious vegan banana bread is so delicious and you can enjoy it guilt free because after all its mainly just fruit ;)


- 2 large cups of gluten free flour

- 1 cup of brown sugar

- 1 bar of dark chocolate

- 1/3 cup of coconut oil

- 1 cup of almond or oat milk

- 2 small tsp baking powder

- 4 bananas

- 2 tsp vanilla essence

- 1/2 tsp of salt

The Method 

This recipe will make around 30 small banana breads, if you don't need to scoff this many then simply halve the ingredients.

Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt together in a large bowl. Next in a separate bowl mash the four bananas with a fork or simply using your hands, mix with the melted coconut oil, almond milk and vanilla essence. . Add the liquid mixture to the dry mixture and mix thoroughly until you have a loose cakey mixture. Smash the dark chocolate into chips and add to the mix. 

Grease the baking tray thoroughly with margarine and spoon 1 tablespoon into each mould for individual banana breads. Place in the oven pre heated to 180 degrees and leave to bake for 15 minutes if you like them gooey in the middle or 20 minutes for firmer banana bread.
